Trading guide & FAQ

Farever has no built-in trade window. Use this guide to trade safely in game, then use TradeFarever to find buyers and sellers in your region.

How to trade in Farever

Farever has no traditional trade window — you cannot swap items or transfer gold directly between players. Trades happen in the world using party drops and pickups.

  1. 1Form a party
Both players should be in the same party so you can coordinate the exchange in one place.
  2. 2Drop items on the ground
Each person drops what they are offering. The other player picks up the dropped item. That pickup is the trade.
  3. 3Verify before you pick up
Check item name, rarity, level, and stats on the ground item before accepting. TradeFarever listings are player-posted and not verified by the game.
Paying with gold (no direct gold transfer)

Gold cannot be handed to another player. Sellers usually price in gold, then buyers pay with vendor trash the seller can sell for that amount.

Example

  1. Player A has a sword listed for 100g and wants to sell it to Player B.
  2. Player A drops the sword for Player B to pick up.
  3. Player B drops vendor trash worth about 100g when sold to a vendor.
  4. Player A picks up Player B's items and vendors them for the gold.
  5. Player B keeps the sword — you have effectively bought it for 100g.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the marketplace, database, and how TradeFarever fits into Farever player trading.

What is TradeFarever?

TradeFarever is an unofficial fan-made site for Farever players. It hosts a player marketplace for in-game trades, a searchable item and bestiary database, and tools like the dungeon finder. We are not affiliated with Shiro Games.

Does TradeFarever complete trades for me?

No. Listings and offers are coordination tools only. You arrange the actual trade in game using party drops and pickups. See the how-to-trade section above for the full workflow.

Can I buy or sell for real money (RMT)?

No. Real-money trading is not allowed on this site. Listings are for in-game gold and item-for-item trades only. Report RMT listings to moderators.

How do I create a marketplace listing?

Sign in, go to Create listing, and choose WTS (selling) or WTB (buying). Search the catalog for the item, set your region and gold price or budget, then publish. WTS listings show what you are selling; WTB listings show what you want to buy. Catalog items show icons when available.

How long do listings stay up?

New listings automatically expire after 7 days. You can create a fresh listing when you are still looking to trade.

How do I contact a seller?

Use the listing page to view details and any notes the seller left. In-game coordination (party invite, chat) is up to you and the other player. TradeFarever does not provide direct messaging yet.

What do regions mean on listings?

Region helps you find traders on your server or geographic community (for example North America or Europe). Always confirm the correct server or realm in game before trading.

Is database item data official?

Item and mob data is community-sourced and mirrored from public Farever references where possible. Stats may be incomplete or marked for review. Use listings and database pages as a guide, not a guarantee of in-game values.

How do I report a scam or bad listing?

Use the report action on a listing or profile when available, or contact us through the Contact page with a link to the listing and a short description of the issue.

Still need help?
